What is immoral but correct?
What can be immoral yet correct is what we decide for ourselves or for those we care about. The scenario can conclude the following:
- Parental protection may be immoral because it doesn't respect teens' privacy, but it can be correct when they don't understand their own best interests.
- Improper inheritance may be immoral if attained illegally, but it can be justified when it goes to the proper parties and is not covered by legal law or government regulation.
- Keeping one's image high despite others' indication can be immoral, but it can be correct when it brings benefits or saves someone from harm, in certain situations.
- Curiosity can be immoral in some fields, but it can be correct when it is necessary to earn benefits or merits of knowledge.
- Ignoring moralities, traditions or principles may be immoral in some cultures, but it can be correct when it is used to fight against human rights violations.
Note:
Parental protection may be immoral because it goes against respecting teens' privacy, but it can be justified when the teens do not have the capacity to understand their own best interests. Improper inheritance may be immoral if attained illegally, but it can be correct when it is passed down to the rightful parties and is not covered by existing legal laws or government regulations. Keeping up a positive image despite negative indications from others may be immoral, but it can be correct when it brings long-term benefits or protects someone from harm in certain circumstances. Curiosity can be seen as immoral in certain fields, but it can be correct when it is necessary to gain knowledge or merits. Ignoring moralities, traditions, or principles may be immoral in some cultures, but it can be correct when it is used to fight against human rights violations or to protect the vulnerable.
