The question isn't accurate and meaningful because humans are selfish due to their evolutionary development. Humans are born everyday and take every single spot possible, be it employment, franchise, hobby, sport, brands, or organizations. The fact that life is being depleted out of its own features and its own beneficiary, deprives every single individual from cooperation and drives people to resolve to extreme measures such as being prognostic, egoistic, self-centered, self-confident, and finally self-esteemed with their solitude. With all these concepts, you will realize there isn't such a bond as friendship, at least between grown-ups, and what is relevant. All due to life's hardships and misfortunes, every human is going through. If life was ever featured and wealthy for everyone, would there be any sorts of oppression, unjust and starvation? The answer to that is "No, of course," and herein comes the selfish deed, but what accumulates and measures its own value is reliant on its wielder once more. Some individuals are selfish for their future and their life bargain, so this calls for applauds. Some others are too selfish to participate in charity and here comes the downside. As we see, both are two oppositions and that is already known and programmed in every single mind, so there is no way it will turn otherwise. We all seek to make humans constructive and productive so everyone will shoulder the life expense for one individual over another, therefore the question must be rephrased to "Why aren't humans constructive and productive enough?" and that's what makes it an interesting debate.
