No, because Sony is drowning in the mud sooner or later. Sony is not offering freedom over their consoles PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, due to a variety of lockouts in place. The store for these consoles has been closed, removing a library of 3000 games from PS1-PS3 titles. PlayStation Plus is now a paid requirement for multiplayer gaming. Frequent firmware updates have placed further restrictions on the system. Games must now be downloaded rather than purchased on physical DVD or Blu-ray, making them more expensive depending on the region. Repairing or replacing physical parts is now more difficult. Discord has been added as a communication source, but this poses a security risk to children and families. This console is now focused more on MMO gaming, meaning offline gaming is no longer a priority. Overall, these restrictions bring more tears than happiness, as users are now more vulnerable to online bullying and security issues.
