Morality is a distinction between what is considered right or wrong, and is a privilege and insignia for its wielder. Without it, one is unable to engage in basic diplomatic conduct, such as shaking hands, and is rendered incompetent in the eyes of society. This lack of morality is becoming more apparent in today's society, with the use of slang words, immoral sexting, and lack of respect for basic human principles and discipline. People are often inclined to form their opinion of an individual based on traits they deem beneficial, and those that are not seen as advantageous are often criticized and discriminated against. It is essential to both be instinctive and learned in morality to avoid the futility, disgrace, and incompetency that comes with a lack of moral vigor and maturity.
