Let's assume we are talking about MMO games. Do not get fooled by the tendency of other players. No player helps another player unless there is a profit in it. It isn't family relevant nor love nor anything in whatsoever claims they will throw at you. Only the immature, naive and lonely teens will fall for it. It is always okay if it is done under play-mate concept but growing relations because of a situation for a guy who helped you to kill a game boss in middle of nowhere in game? Or because a females winks at you with an emote in some random virtual world? This is ridiculous. That is overestimation for friendship and overrating the situation that comes along with it. Do not start friendship with opposing gender at random. You cannot befriend avatar because you are just falling in love or you have been appealed. That is another gibberish thing to fall for. It isn't kindness that control such relations but rather greed and malicious desires. Logical interactions are always respected and comprehensible. Hate and grudge are verse of the internet. Love and kindness in all of these sorts can be valid only for friendly environments as long as it doesn't involve exploit or abuse or bully. Friendly environment can be as small as dragon games on android but do not mistake it for interactive and socializing environment like Perfect World International ARC. In PWI they go as far as ripping you off and stabbing your back. Your social appeal doesn't. It matters how useful your avatar is more than your personal value and importance. Factions in there tend to do that all the time.
