Because games are not entertainment factor any longer. It is more of social platform than being a video game. Games are no longer just a source of entertainment; they have become a social platform. There are several factors that prove this. Paid content is only accessible to those who pay, while free-to-play is a deceptive term used to draw in as many people as possible to benefit the premium players. Influencers must exploit the game traffic through guilds in order to gain fame for their virtual titles and brands. There is also a lack of commitment to the gaming industry and its goals, which leads to a divergence of the community due to fake competitions. Gamers now have to gamble to earn decent items, turning video games into a form of money laundering. There is also a monopoly over stats, with exclusive ratios of complex system occurrences and events that are used to boost the popularity of certain content, regions or guilds, as well as favor the premium players. Discriminatory systems like the star-rating system are also implemented, with five stars representing luxurious characters and one star representing characters who fail to capture the audience's interest. Virtual resources are also given more value than physical ones, with game resources and graphics being overpriced in comparison to real consoles or vehicles. Prices for games should be in cents rather than dollars. There are many factors that do prove that like the following:
Paying for online content grants unrestricted access to the game and all of its virtual assets and currencies. Content exclusive to those who pay is the only true way to play. The term “free to play” is often used as a deceptive marketing tactic to entice players, allowing premium players to gain an advantage over those who don’t pay.
Influencers must use social activities such as guilds to gain recognition for their virtual brands and social titles on the internet by dominating and exploiting game traffic.
No commitment to the game industry and its own end goal will ultimately divert the community away from genuine competition.
You must gamble to earn any decent item, which has turned video games into a kind of casino, with schemes such as indirect money laundering.
The monopoly of statistics, exclusive ratios in percentages for certain complex system occurrences and events, is used to increase the popularity of favorable content, regions, guilds, and premium players.
The implementation of discriminatory systems, such as a rating system, should be reformed. Characters should not be valued based on their looks and nudity, but instead should be judged on their merits. The value of a five-star rating should not be associated with characters who specialize in nudes, nor should the value of a one-star rating be associated with characters who fail to meet the audience's expectations.
Giving virtual resources more value than physical ones can lead to overpricing game resources and graphics in comparison to the cost of real consoles or vehicles. Game prices should be in cents, not dollars.
Encouraging organizations to earn passive income without risk may lead to a decrease in production in other areas, resulting in an increase in the cost of our basic needs. Therefore, it is important to consider the consequences of every organization going into media production.
Illegal streaming of video games without proper security measures in place to prevent recording without permission is harmful to the game title. Unauthorized streaming can also involve dishonest advertising, social bullying, and social experiments, which can lead to violations and assaults without consequences.
Lack of creativity is being shrouded in darkness due to stealing ideas from other industries. Cloned game systems, altered game resources, irrelevant game titles, and assaults against iconic names, all done in an attempt to capitalize on their success, are all too common.
Anonymity is seen as a form of freedom of expression, allowing people to mask their identity, such as undergoing face surgery, in order to participate in activities that may be deemed illegal.
No wonder why military powers around the world get tremendous income from selling weapons and waging wars seamlessly. It is also not surprising that third-parties, including military agents, are able to access information from game chat logs through game industries. It is no wonder why people can no longer find video games appealing for entertainment. With all this seriousness, it is no surprise that children are now quitting all games. Will you do better?
